Things are okay over here. We’ve finished a bunch of home projects that I don’t think we could have without so much time at our apartment, which is nice. We never properly applied attention to any place we lived in order to make it feel like home. We’re almost done outfitting the apartment to survive the upcoming winter lockdown, too, so I’m confident we’ll be prepared for the next long period of this thing.

We’re planning our own trip out of town the week of the election – nowhere we could want to be less than DC that week! I think we’re heading to rural Pennsylvania. It will be nice to have a change of scene.

I would say that so many months of the continuous digital overwhelm associated with lockdown is really starting to get to me. It’s really making me dread my return to school next month. Doesn’t look like it’s going to lessen anytime soon!
