These 12 Journals

These 12 journals are my every daily journal from the first day of the Trump Administration through today. I lost a lot over the last four years — it sometimes even feels like Donald Trump personally took away everything that was ever important to me.

The first two photos are the journal entry from the day of his day in office — a snapshot of a Tim working a dead end administrative assist job at NASA dreaming of one day being married, of taking my GIS studies to the graduate level, of growing into something more that a sidekick in so many mediocre straight men’s internal hero native.

The final photo is the last entry of the journal I just finished tonight. The last journal before the election. It’s a snapshot of Tim, looking forward to the future — truly confident in his own direction, ability, and vision of leadership.

Donald Trump almost took everything, but he was never able to take my dignity.

And in hindsight, the last four year’s weren’t a period of personal loss at all. It was a period of profound transformation. Profound growth.

My kingdom is rising.
