I’ve been talking to a lot of people, and all my crew agrees that we need to do everything we can to keep mom and dad from traveling.

The god’s truth is that they are the highest risk population to die from this virus, and all accounts show that airports are doing nothing to ensure containment. I have a friend that just flew yesterday, and TSA did ~no~ screening nor enforced no distancing policies in the busy atriums.

A lot of reports also predict there aren’t nearly enough hospitals or ventilators to accommodate the coming swell of patients, so we cannot let them risk getting sick in a town where they don’t know anyone. They will not be guaranteed medical care.

Las Vegas has reported new cases this weekend, a bunch being hotel staff, so it is already there.

I called mom and dad again a little while ago, and made the explicit appeal for them to not go. I think it would go a long way if you asked them to reconsider as well.

They are really in danger, and you and I are the only ones who can intervene.
