We’re at this GIS Conference (a Mapmaking technology). He was part of of the panel discussion called “Belonging and Inclusion in GIS.”

His whole thing is “We can draw a circle, and we can say, here, within these borders, everyone belongs.

Then, we push the circle outward, making it bigger, day by day.”

We’re literally working in a New Light with immigrants, women, and queer men, re-drawing the borders and boundaries an America just waiting to be born.
