I kinda feel the need to say, I might need to take some time alone for a little while —

We just had to leave town this past weekend for my friend Jim’s funeral; my boss at FEMA recently wanted to have a closed-door meeting about my future; and I’ve got two weeks to start and finish my final project for school.

I’m overwhelmed, burned out, and just so existentially tired.

To be honest, the continually flaming debris of these past two years has me in a moment of surrender right now.

I bought plane tickets for the day after class on a whim.

I’m gonna spend some time finding myself in the Santa Fe desert for a while before driving up north to spend some time w my family.
