It will be constantly relived until it is understood and accepted.

In essence, the end of one’s time in Eden is concurrently the beginning of their time in the Wilderness, and As human history has shown time and again, the wilderness will only stay that way for so long while man is present. The human need for order will cause us to reorganize the world into a way that makes sense and most easily allows us to navigate our path forward.

The trauma of expulsion from paradise / civil society / home will be constantly relived until it is understood and accepted. It’s only then a person is able to develop the ability to prevent this expulsion from happening ever again.

But that trauma must be faced directly — remembered enough so that life can be restructured in a way that it will be continuously forgotten going forward.
