We would very much like for the four of us to have a conversation this week.

In the past two weeks, you’ve made a series of allegations without a clear explanation or a willingness to communicate. This has been very confusing and hurtful. We care for you both so deeply and this has been incredibly upsetting to bear. All we are asking for is the opportunity to discuss this together. Please keep in mind how much we have shared in the past couple of years and how much you will always mean to us.

We also share your desire for some space. I hope that we can at least clear up some confusion during our conversation, then have a fair bit of time apart. We really hope you can meet us on mutual terms.
