I don’t think I need to recite the litany of reasons this past summer sucked. When I was disappeared from society for four months at that no-speaking-allowed job far away up-County, though,you were one of only four people who remembered I was there.

It was just KP, you, and Greg and Jeff (the guys from our Sacred Band of Thebes) —

My disappearance went completely unnoticed by every other person in my life.

I couldn’t have made it through the summer, let alone selling that damn car, without you being close by. It meant a lot to me that you kept checking in. I really needed that.

The place is a functional wreck, but it’s starting to come together. We have too much furniture from the last place being so much bigger than ours now, so we gotta make some cuts.

But I love this neighborhood. I’m really into city-living!
